New For Lake Macquarie 2HD 90.5FM

You can now listen to 2HD in Lake Macquarie on 90.5FM. 2HD has invested heavily in a new transmission facility at Belmont North to fill blackspots of their main 1143AM frequency. The frequencies are: 1143AM – Newcastle & Hunter Valley, 97.5FM – Port Stephens and 90.5FM – Lake Macquarie. 2HD has a FM translator based at Port Stephens 97.5FM, 1143am at Sandgate AND NOW 90.5FM based at Belmont.

GfK DAB+ Radio Ratings Survey 4, 2022

In the GfK DAB+ ratings for survey 4 the top rating stations were: ABC Sport (Sydney), Gold 80s and Tik Tok Trending equal No 1 (Melbourne), 97.3 KIIS 90s (Brisbane), Old Skool 90s Hits and Tik Tok Trending equal No 1 in Adelaide and 96FM 80s (Perth).

GfK Metro Survey 4, 2022

In the latest GfK metro survey talk stations 3AW (15.7%) and 2GB (12.9%) continue their dominance. The Nova stations in Brisbane and Perth were both No 1 with Nova 106.9 (Bris) a share of 12.6% and Nova 93.7 (Perth) with 15.5%. In Adelaide, the ABC was the top rating station with 13.6%.

Laurel Edwards, Gary Clare and Mark Hine to head the new 4BC Breakfast show.

4BC Brisbane has announced that the successful 4KQ brekky trio Laurel, Mark and Gary team will take over the 4BC Breakfast show. For Gary this is a return to 4BC after a stint in the 4BC newsroom.
