They were followed by Triple M with 16.9% (-4.8), then Star 106.3 with 15.3% (+0.7) and Power 100 with 10% (-1.8). Melbourne radio station RSN 927 has announced: “It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Father Gerard Dowling. He’s been a cornerstone of broadcasting in Melbourne for 50 years and has been heard on racing radio all that time. Father Dowling started hosting the Family Counsellor program on 3UZ in 1973.” Dowling turned 91 in 2023.
