‘The Spoonman’ Resigns From Triple M Hobart.

Brian Carlton aka ‘The Spoonman’ has resigned from his breakfast host role on Triple M Hobart. Carlton, who replaced long-time breakfast host Dave Noonan in November 2019, says he is taking “an extended break from all work for health reasons”, and thanked the Hobart community for their support over his 3 year stint on the Hobart airwaves.

The radio host previously resigned from his 4-year stint as host of statewide talkback show ‘Tasmania Talks’ at a different network in 2019, citing personal reasons. Triple M management have thanked Brian for his commitment to their audience during his time in Hobart. “The last couple of years have been a particularly challenging time and I know he has given it his all,” said SCA Executive General Manager Victoria and Tasmania Ally Bradley.
