Sydney’s Classic Hits Debuts May 28

The new sound of Sydney’s Classic Hits.com has been in ‘test mode’ over the last 6 months and is set to deliver the biggest hits by the world’s greatest artists. It is the brainchild of Sydney radio personality Lars Peterson, a top rating music announcer on Sydney radio for nearly two decades.

Lars Peterson of Cloud Media Network said, “Ron E is radio royalty and an absolute master craftsman behind the microphone…His music & artist knowledge and his observational wit is just gold, I am stoked he is kick starting the station!”

  1. I have much respect for the people behind this set-up. My question is why? I’m 55, I’m not even sure what my generation is called. I’ve embraced streaming services since Spotify first launched and recently moved to loss-less audio platform Deezer. In fact, the whole family is on its ‘family plan’. The quality is brilliant. The algorithms work well and I’m discovering music across all genres and decades. What opportunities are there to build an audience and find clients with an online radio station like this? My first couple of hurdles…. the quality of the stream won’t be great and if there are clients on board, why would I want Gerry Harvey screaming at me every 15 minutes?
