Jake Tracey To Join The Riverina’s Hit 93.1

The Hit Network today announced that Jake Tracey will join the Riverina’s Hit93.1 line up as local Mornings Announcer from Thursday, October 13.

Talking to Wagga locals, sharing the best of what the region has to offer and maybe breaking out a jamming session on his bass guitar, Jake Tracey is the Riverina’s new best friend.

Tracey moves to Wagga from Adelaide where his radio journey began in 2016. Landing behind the microphone volunteering at Hill’s Radio in the Adelaide Hills, he later moved to Adelaide’s Fresh 92.7 as Breakfast Producer before entering the studio once again as Workday Announcer.

In 2018, Tracey began at SCA as part of the Street Team for SAFM and Adelaide’s 104.7 Triple M before assistant producing for breakfast shows SAFM’s Bec, Cosi & Lehmo and Triple M’s Rood & Ditts, plus The Rush Hour Drive showand Saturday mornings’ Deadset Legends.

Tracey said: “I’m super excited to start at Riverina’s Hit 93.1, it has such a strong community involvement. Since moving to Wagga, I’ve been enjoying road testing all the fantastic coffee shops in the region. Think I can comfortably call myself the coffee connoisseur of the Riverina!”

SCA Regional Content Director Wagga Wagga, Duncan Potts, said: “It’s great to have Jake join us on Hit93.1, he just loves radio and can’t wait to get on-air to spend the workday with everyone across Wagga Wagga and the Riverina and he’ll be right at home in the ‘City of Good Sports’ with his love of all footy codes.

We’ve been lucky to have found Jake and we look forward to having him join the team here in Wagga.”

Catch Jake Tracey from 9am weekdays on the Riverina’s Hit93.1 or via the LiSTNR app.
