ZOO FM Breakfast Team vacancy in the Central West.
We currently have a unique opportunity to rebuild our ZOOFM Breakfast Show after our two person team just landed an amazing capital city gig.
ZOOFM is on the hunt for the right two co-host team who are serious about making great radio for our regional audience as part of our ZOOFM crew and of Dubbo.
ZOO FM is a part of the Super Radio Network located in Dubbo in the Central West NSW about 4.5 hours West of Sydney and we encourage duo’s and individuals to apply quickly as this vacancy won’t last long.
What you need to be considered;
- 100 percent committed
- An effective communicator to our 30+ audience.
- Experienced in radio (Commercial Preferred)
- Great copywriting skills
- Be willing to work hard to achieve results
- Self-motivated
- Early riser (4:30 AM Start)
- Cooperative team player
- Willing to perform other duties as required
- Work some Saturday over time shifts.
- Work on 2DU where needed.

A big audience: Dubbo has a population of approx. 44,000 people and a capture audience of 80 to 120,000 so it’s a big country station. ZOO and its heritage station 2DU are in a competitive market with a major network brand.
Most importantly you’ll have a supportive team dedicated to making great radio.
Dubbo is a very affordable city that has fantastic draw cards like the world class Taronga Western Plains ZOO and heritage Old Dubbo Gaol.
You will work a normal full time week plus some Saturdays, you will be paid award rates + penalties + overtime + super (Where applicable).
