 Ben Erbsland – New Head of Content – GSL Media 

Following the announcement of the retirement of Rod Brice as Group Content Director for GSL Media 91.9 SEA FM and 92.7 MIX FM Sunshine Coast, CEO Simon Rub is excited to announce the appointment of Ben Erbsland to Head of Content – 91.9 SEA FM and 92.7 MIX FM. 

For the past six months, Ben has been the Content Director at 91.9 SEA FM, effectively guiding the station in a positive direction and achieving impressive Survey 1 results in 2023. Ben will be taking the position of Head of Content for 91.9 SEA FM and 92.7 MIX FM effective Monday 16th October.

Melbourne radio station RSN 927 has announced: “It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Father Gerard Dowling. He’s been a cornerstone of broadcasting in Melbourne for 50 years and has been heard on racing radio all that time. Father Dowling started hosting the Family Counsellor program on 3UZ in 1973.” Dowling turned 91 in 2023.
