In true proof that it’s impossible to stay away from Central Queensland, Aaron is delighted to be back and back doing what he loves most – talking sport!

While Aaron won’t shy away from wearing that love for the Broncos on his sleeve and sharing his passion for all sports including AFL, Soccer, Union, Basketball, Netball, Tennis and Cricket, The Sideline View will have a focus on local competitions and will be reaching out to sports and clubs that we don’t hear about everyday for all the latest scores, chances to win and updates on what’s happening in sport right across Central Queensland!

Al Kirton Announces Retirement.

After a radio career spanning 53 years, 47 years in senior management, Al Kirton has announced his retirement from Coastal Broadcasters Pty Ltd, the operators of 4KZ, 4AM, KOOL FM, KIK FM & 4AY. In his career, Al has been on the Board of Directors of various companies of nine Radio stations.

Neil Mitchell finished up as 3AW Mornings host on December 1. He has occupied the 8.30am to midday timeslot on the Melbourne talkback station since 1990. He had a final message to his listeners and everyone who has been involved in his career. “It is genuinely a privilege,” he said.
