4BC radio host Bill McDonald mourning the loss of wife Julianne

The wife of Queensland 4BC Brisbane radio host Bill McDonald has tragically died of cancer. The couple were married for 30 years and had four sons. The Courier-Mail reports that McDonald has taken time off from his new job as the replacement for Ray Hadley on Brisbane’s 4BC radio station following the heartbreaking news.

The eldest son of the McDonald family, Jordan, shared the sad news on Facebook, expressing the family’s deep sadness and mentioning that Julianne had passed away after a courageous battle.

In Bill McDonald’s absence, colleague Gary Hardgrave has covered for him at work and informed 4BC listeners of the news.
