September Radio News Canberra’s 104.7 and Mix 106.3 remain the leading commercial radio stations in Canberra with audience shares of 17.4% and 17.3% respectively among people 10+ according to the latest radio audience survey released by Nielsen Media Research. ABC 666 share the No 1 mantle also with a 17.4% share. 2CC rated 6.6% with sister station 2CA - 4.1%. Alan Jones has returned to the airwaves on 2GB. He was diagnosed with cancer after a biopsy in May, but didn't tell friends, family and colleagues of his condition until early July. Walking into his studio early this morning, Jones joked with colleagues, giving high-fives as he greeted them.
