HADLEY IN THE MORNING 

Macquarie Southern Cross Media are very excited to announce an agreement in principle is in place with radio 2GB to launch for the first time in regional Australia The Ray Hadley morning program between 9am and 11am Monday to Friday in 2009. 

Ray is no stranger to listeners to many MACSC radio stations as The voice of the NRL on weekends. 

National Group Program Director of Macquarie Southern Cross Media Rod Brice said “Ray’s number 1 rating morning show on 2GB has a massive amount of audience interaction and we are very excited that next year it will now include the opportunity for many of our regional listeners to join in and have their voice heard.”   

CEO of Macquarie Radio Network Angela Clark said “Ray Hadley very much looks forward to welcoming regional Australia to his show in the New Year.  Some listeners will already be familiar with Ray through his rugby league and Olympic broadcasts but even for these listeners, we are confident Ray’s morning show will offer them a new level of engagement.  Ray is a passionate believer in the power of “the open line” and we know that “having a voice” is more important than ever to regional Australians.”

Ray Hadley will be on-air from 9am on Tuesday 27^th January.
